We’re two weeks into January, and this is where the rubber hits the road! Getting your exercise routine in place is a great thing to begin the year with. I am not much of a gym goer myself, but I know lots of people are, and for them, it’s where they’ve found their fitness home.
Meet my friend Marita.
She has two small children and runs a marketing business with her husband, She’s not a ‘New Year’ exerciser but loves to exercise all year round. Hats off to her for getting to the gym each week - she’s a grafter let me tell you!
Hitting the gym is where Marita found her groove, but she also found, post babies that her skin needed some TLC, not the kind which a one off bath and face masque would solve, but a daily skin care routine which would target her skin concerns.
At a time in her life where time is precious, and the mornings tend to involve getting kids fed, dressed and strapped into the car (why is that part is always the most stressful?), she needs sustainable, not a flash-in-the-pan January fix.
While sessions at the gym are undeniably great for your entire body, a good work out means you will sweat. Getting a good exfoliation into your skin care routine is vital to really get into those pores making sure you buff away the dead skin cells, to reveal your most radiant complexion yet.

If, after a really long gym workout, or session with a personal trainer, a long bath may be just the ticket. Once you’re home, run a bath, light some candles and apply a nourishing vitamin rich masque to feed the skin from the outside.
